Administrative responsibilities included community outreach, supervision, training of TFC parents, and supervision of Intake/Discharge Coordinator, Treatment Coordinator and intern. Clinical responsibilities included family therapy with TFC and biological parents, group/individual therapy.
April 1997 - November 1997: Innovative Services, Inc., Albuquerque, New Mexico. Program Therapist, Residential Treatment Center. Administrative responsibilities included supervision of house managers and related staff, coordination with CYFD. Clinical responsibilities included individual, family and group therapy to 10 residents weekly. Diagnosis included: Developmentally Disabled - moderate to high functioning, ADHD, Schizophrenic, Conduct Disorder, and Depression.
February 1996 - April 1997: Rancho Valmora, RTC, Valmora, New Mexico. Primary therapist serving a dorm of eight teenage girls. Emphasis upon family, group and individual therapy, utilizing cognitive and behavioral solution-focused methodologies. Positive Peer Culture provided the group therapy milieu, with formal group held two to three times a week. Documentation included intake interview, social assessments, treatment plans, Children`s Review Panel Continued Says, Involuntary Admission support, and case management coordination. Duties also included supervision of two shifts of dorm counselors on a daily basis.
July 1994 - March 1995: County of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Court Screener. Program Administrator. Responsible for administering a program whose clients have received a DWI and are processed through Magistrate Court. Accountable for clinical testing and assessment, using the Millon Clinical Multiaxial Inventory (MCMI), the Mortimer-Filkins inventory. Other duties include interview of the individual and his/her partner for collaboration. Analysis of test and interview results supported referral to treatment programs. Responsible for reporting to local advisory panel and Court regarding the documentation and completion of treatment. Job ended when the program was redesigned by the County Commission of Santa Fe. 
March 1994 - June 1994: Penitentiary of New Mexico, Santa Fe. Community Programs Coordinator. Responsible for all documentation of a case worker nature. Facilitating six inmate self-help groups. Supervision of inmates performing custodial jobs. Worked closely with the Native American Club, coordinating cultural activities.
March 1993 - December 1993: Northern New Mexico Family Crisis Center, Espanola, New Mexico. Therapist. Clinical responsibilities included individual/family and couples therapy with families in abusive interaction. Incorporated mediation and self-esteem building approaches to alter behavioral patterns. Attended court as a victim advocate, and coordinated corollary options with social services.
January 1990 - April 1992: Airport Marina Counseling Center, Westchester, California Counselor Community based therapy center. Clients included a broad cross-section of Axis I and II diagnoses. Individual, family, and couples therapy. Cognitive, behavioral and gestalt modalities.
January 1989 - September 1989: The Wellness Community, Santa Monica, California. Counselor. Duties included co-facilitation of group therapy with clients in recovery from cancer.
